  1. A festive aperitif

Welcome guests with the fine bubbles and fresh fruit of Don de Pierre. Keep pouring it with light appetisers.

  2. Fish or poultry in cream sauce

Pan-fried fish or guinea fowl in cream sauce? It’s the sauce that points to Chardonnay Elegant, with its ripe apple notes and creamy texture.

  3. Vegetarian option: oven-roasted mushrooms

Try Pinot Noir with thyme-roasted mushrooms. Its fruit leaves room for their earthy flavour. If you add plenty of cream, try Chardonnay Elegant.

  4. Grilled meat

A dark, seared crust can take a bolder wine. Cabernet’s spicy oak works especially well with grilled meat. A gently poached dish calls for a lighter touch.

  5. Which wine goes with Christmas turkey?

Choose Chardonnay Elegant with turkey and creamy mushroom sauce. If you serve it with cranberries and a light gravy, try a fruity Pinot Noir. Taste the sauce first: its flavour lingers longest.

  6. After the main course: cheese

Keep pouring a fruity Pinot Noir with mild cheeses. Serve strong or blue cheeses separately so you can give them a different pairing.
